Before submitting an application for Human Ethics Approval, you must register with Researcher Information Services (RISe) and complete an introductory online tutorial.
1. Register with RISe
RISe is UBC's secure, online document management system used by all UBC-affiliated REBs. All submissions and department approvals of ethics applications to any of the UBC-affiliated REBs must use RISe. All amendments, renewals, and requests for acknowledgment to previously approved applications must also use RISe.
If you are a first-time user, please register with RISe to create an account.
2. Complete the TCPS 2 Tutorial (CORE)
The requirements are available here and apply to all members of the research team, including faculty, students, residents and research staff.
